A BUDAPEST WEDDING FILM

Filming this wedding was one of those experiences of a lifetime... When BBC reporter Catharina got in touch to see if we could film her wedding in Budapest, she didn't have to ask twice! Catharina and Alexander had organised a wedding celebration which took place over four days, in order to make the most of what Budapest has to offer and what an incredible city it is!

Friday was the start of the official celebrations with a stunning Roast and Toast on the Savoy Terrace, taking place under Buda Castle, overlooking the river Danube and most of Budapest, with some of the best views the city has to offer. As the guests arrived, storm clouds gathered above, and everyone, including us, were understandably anxious about the weather. The storm ended up being one of the great highlights of the night, however, with an incredible lightening display streaking across the sky as the toasts took place. It added to the magic and drama of an incredible place.

The ceremony took place the next day in the awe inspiring Matthias Church, with canapes and drinks taking place afterwards on one of Fisherman Bastion. Then it was onto the Corinthia Ballroom for the wedding breakfast and partying for the couple and their guests until the early hours!

Creatively it was a visual feast for the eyes from beginning to end, and to top it off the couple and their friends could not have been more welcoming or hospitable, so thank you Catharina and Alexander! We were very lucky to work with some of the very best in the industry, including photographer Becky Lee of Matt Porteous, Studio_M and wedding planner Dori from Budapest Wedding.

We hope you enjoy Alexander and Catharina's wedding film.
